SKILLED NOMINATED VISA (SUBCLASS 190)
Nominated skilled professionals can live and work in Australia as permanent residents can apply for this visa. While you apply for a visa and while we determine whether to grant it, you can be within or outside of Australia but, you cannot be in the immigration clearance process.
If you apply while in Australia, you must have a valid visa, such as a Subclass 010 Bridging A, Subclass 020 Bridging B, or Subclass 030 Bridging C.
Conditions For Applying Skilled Nominated Visa
There are some conditions you must meet to get a skilled nominated visa.
- You must have experience in an occupation nominated from Australiaβs Skilled Occupation List (SOL).
- Be aged over 18 years and under 45 years at the time you receive the invitation to Apply (ITA).
- Meet the fundamental prerequisites for skilled immigration, including criteria related to character, health, and proficiency in the English Language.
- Achieve a minimum of 65 points on the Australia 65 Points Calculator.
THE APPLICATION PROCEDURE
a) Verify that you have at least 65 points and that your profession is listed on the SOL.
b) Send your interest expression.
c) Wait for an invitation before applying.
d) Compete your papers.
e) Within 60 days of receiving an invitation, apply for a visa.
- A sponsorship request from the employer (who must be a legitimate, functioning firm that complies with local labor and employment laws).
- The nomination application is the second step in the application procedure. This relates to the post that has to be filled, wage information, efforts to employ Australian individuals and the 'genuineness' of the position. The company must also be profitable to be sponsored from outside.
- A visa application submitted by the designated worker. The visa applicant must provide proof that they fulfill the qualifications for their profession, as well as the standards for fitness and moral character.
